Rates for My Cincinnati Psychologist
$175.00 initial visit
$135.00, 50 - 55 minute sessions
$205.00, 75-80 minute sessions
$ 70.00, 20-30 minute sessions
Other services including report writing, telephone consults and conversations, preparation of records or treatment summaries, and time performing other services you might request of me will be billed in 10 minute increments at my hourly rate. If you become involved in legal proceedings that require my participation, you will be expected to pay for all of my professional time, including preparation and transportation costs, even if I am called to testify by another party. Because of the difficulty of legal involvement, I charge $160.00 per hour for preparation and attendance at any legal proceeding.
I require that all payments be made in full at the time the service is provided.
Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
I do not participate in most insurance plans. I will file your insurance for you, but you will be reimbursed at out-of-network rates.
I am a Medicare provider. I also take a limited number of Care Source clients.
Payment
Cash, check, Master Card or VISA are accepted forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. You are paying for my time as well as my professional expertise.
